APPLICATION FOR ACCREDITATION OF CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) ACTIVITIES UNDER CATEGORY 1

You can make an online application for accreditation of a CPD activity under Categories 1(a), (b) or (c) of the PEB's CPD programme.  If you have read the procedures and requirements regarding this application, please click on the OK button at the bottom of this page.

 

Procedures regarding online application for accreditation of CPD Activity under Category 1

When completing the online application form, please note the following:

i) If all the information about the CPD activity is available on your web site, please fill in the web site address on the form under Event URL, and you do not need to complete the items on Objective of Course and Speaker(s) Information.
ii) You can also attach a file containing additional information which will assist in the evaluation of the course.  If a file is to be attached, you need not complete the items on Objective of Course and Speaker(s) Information.  You will be prompted to attach a file after you have successfully submitted the online form.  Please note that the file you attach should preferably be a text file, otherwise the file must not exceed 500KB in size.

 

Requirements regarding application for accreditation of CPD Activity under Category 1

1) If sufficient information about the CPD Event has been provided to enable evaluation by PEB, the application could be approved within 2 weeks.
2) A Course Organiser will be notified of the outcome of the application only via e-mail.
3) When a CPD event has been successfully accredited by PEB, a user id and password will be sent to the Course Organiser.  This is to allow the Course Organiser to log in to our system to update the attendance of those Professional Engineers who have attended the course.  The Course Organiser is required to update the attendance record within 4 weeks after completion of the event.
4) All CPD activities which have been been accredited by PEB will be posted on PEB's web site under Calendar of Accredited CPD Courses/Activities.  Hyperlink to the Event URL at the Course Organiser's web site will also be provided if the URL is given on the application form.
